He studied economics at Yangon Institute of Economics, ISS (Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, The Netherlands), Singapore National University as research fellow, CIST Manila, Philippines. He has taught Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Principles of Economics, Business Studies, Business organizational behavior.
Prof. Soe is a freelance writer and his articles and books are published in commerce and economic journals and magazines. He was the first prizewinner of National level Manuscript Competition 2000, Ministry of Information, Myanmar. He had awarded for excellence in teaching economics for 2007-2008 conferred by DLD College London. In addition to teaching, now he is teaching economics in PISM, ECE education centre, an adviser to the SMEs Myanmar.

Before that He was Assistant Director for the Directorate of Trade under Ministry of Commerce from 2005 to 2006.He was also the Assistant Lecturer for Accounting subjects at Yangon Institute of Economics from 2002 to 2005. He used to be the Tutor for Accounting Subjects at Yangon Institute of Economics from 1994 to 2002.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Her studies included a combination of Micro- and Behavioral Economics which are used to predict and explain human behavior within organizations. Her Master’s thesis was titled, “The influence of reciprocity and competition on lying behavior: an analysis of gender differences,” and was presented at the Economic Science Association (ESA) World Meeting in 2013 in Zürich, Switzerland. Ms. Roggema also holds a VWO diploma, Economie en Maatschappij, from De Grundel; a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam; with additional studies at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ms. Roggema speaks both English and Dutch.

Prior to joining the KT Group, Jim was the Director of Operations for Myanmar Market Research and Development (MMRD). Under his leadership, the operations team developed and launched syndicated studies that were instrumental in the solicitation and eventual joint venture partnership that resulted with Nielsen. A staunch advocate of HR, Jim’s mantra of “Hard on the process, soft on the people” brought with it HR reforms that resulted in standardization of HR processes at MMRD.

Jim worked at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in the metropolitan Washington, DC area prior to moving to Myanmar. While at SHRM he provided subject matter expertise in the development, testing, and marketing of SHRM products and services. He also introduced predictive analytics at SHRM that resulted in targeted marketing campaigns that yielded the Society $4M USD in increased revenue.

Jim’s professional affiliation includes membership with the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Marketing Association. He graduated with a BA in Political Science from Jacksonville State University, was a Fellow, and holds an MPA from the University of Vermont. Jim also attended post graduate studies at Duke University and the University of Georgia.

Ms. Zin Zin NAING has been serving as a Lecturer at Yangon Institute of Economics since December 2011. Before that, she was Lecturer at Meiktila Institute of Economics –from February 2010 to November 2011. She was also Lecturer at both the University of Distance Education, Mandalay –from February 2008 to February 2010, and at Yangon Institute of Economics – from March 2003 to February 2008; February 2010 topresent.She had also gained an intern at theDivision of Agriculture and Natural Resource, the World Bank Institute (formerly, Economic Development Institute (EDI)), Washington D.C.- June-December 1997. Apart from these all, she is also a part-time research consultant at Myanmar Marketing Research and Development co. Ltd: from 2012 to present.

She has been Korea as a research fellow under Korean-ASEAN Academic Exchange Program in 2001.She has finished Ph. D program at Yangon Institute of Economics in 2007. She attended Case Studies Workshop in Kualalumpur under MTCP (Malaysia Technical Cooperation Program) in 1999. She has been received third prize winner in that workshop for her case. She was chosen as final year outstanding student at Yangon Institute Economics under Luyachun Program (one of the National Level Programs awarded by the Minister of the Ministry of Education) in 1980. She was also a lecturer in online MBA program, Yangon Institute of Economics to teach Production and Operations Management in 2009. She has given lectures on management accounting subject in Mandalay MBA program until now. She has also taught general management, human resource management, entrepreneurship and small business management and industrial management under M.BA programs.

She got B. Com degree from Yangon Institute of Economics in 1982, B. Com (Honors) in 1983, and M. Com degree in 1990. She also attended the Diploma Course specializing in Tourism Studies and Management at Yangon University during the period of 2004-05. She finished her Ph.D degree in 2007 with her special interest field of Tourism Studies. The thesis explored the business strategies of Tour Companies in Myanmar. Her special interest subjects are strategic management, marketing management, business communication, international business management, account and finance etc.
She also attended Financial Management Course held at India Institute of Financial Management and Research in 1998, Management Consultancy Course at Singapore in 2005, ASEAN Free Trade and Negotiation at Philippine in 2013. She has conducted many research papers regarding Tourism Promotion, SWOT analysis on Myanmar Tourism Industry, etc. She has gained a lot of research knowledge and experience through her supervision on several master theses.

Yangon Institute of Economics. She obtained her DCMM, Diploma in Co-op Marketing Management, Post-Graduate Diploma in Institute of Co-operative Management,Bangalore, India in 1994-1995.She received her M.Com degree majoring in management in 2002. She obtained her MBA degree in the year 2004-2006, from International University of Japan, Niikata Prefecture, Japan.She got her Ph.D specialized in Leadership Competencies of Myanmar managers in 2012. Her teaching and research experiences are General Management, Strategic Management,International Business Management, Business Communication, Banking and Financial Institution and Capital Market. She is now taking the responsibility of fulltime MBA, Executive MBA and online MBA respectively, especially supervising on post grad theses and DMA cases in Yangon Institute of Economics.

He has over 20 years of working experience in South East Asia, Middle East with big MNC companies such as K Line, Estee Lauder, Fujitec, Coca-Cola, NMB etc. David was also the former Chief Operating Officer for Myanmar IBTC subsidiary company called TOSC since 2009 and currently was appointed as General Manager for a Singapore branch office set up in Yangon doing logistics distribution. He is an associate member with MIFFA and a member of Supply Chain Asia.

I have served as a Business Communication Teacher at North Eastern Polytechnic School, Ubonrichathani, Thailand in 2005-2006. I do have years of teaching experiences as Business Course Leader/Lecturer, Accounting Teacher at private colleges & institutions in Yangon, Myanmar, where I have achieved my first degree, B.A. (Hons) English from Dagon University.

Furthermore, he had received Master of Public Policy from KDI School of Public Policy and Management, Seoul, South Korea in 2001. He has experience in delivering lectures, discussing in the fields of Trade Development, Entrepreneurship Development, and Business and Human Rights. He has also gained global further studies & academic experience from Korea, Thai, India , Italy and Australia. He had been pursuing his teaching career for about 10 years at Department of Applied Economics, Yangon Institute of Economics. She has more than 18 years experience in teaching of business management subjects such as Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Consumer Behavior and Accounting. As a corporate trainer, she is delivering Personal Skills Development, Marketing Management, General Management and Operations Management to some outstanding companies and private banks in Myanmar. On the other hand, she also works as an individual consultant and as a team member of Smart Consultancy Group, which is a monitoring & evaluation and research consultancy of International NGOs in Myanmar.
